I think he might just be one of the greats of all time.Check out this clip. I hadn't seen this in awhile and it reminded me. He's the man.. Hard to believe that was 9 years ago.. He's definitely not bad, but he lacks power and (occasionally) a steady tempo. Dave Grohl might not be all that technical, but what makes him an impressive drummer is his power and (for the most part) his precision. I'd expect there are enough players frequenting this forum that are within reach of playing that song comparably. Cut to Grohl in Nirvana, and see a different brand of big energy. Taylor is more of a lighter playeri think, but amps it up for Foos. He's technically betterthan Dave probably Dave is just a volume at 11 kinda player, always big,always solid and simple.
