Song suggestions for other members here?

I thought I’d make this thread for anyone who has a suggestion for any songs to sing for other members on this forum. For instance, when ages ago someone suggested Mazzy Star for me…etc.

I just had a flash of inspiration, but not for me. For you, Vardy!

I’m at work and the radio’s on and that song, Black & Gold, by Sam Sparrow, is on. I don’t really care for it that much, but I was sort of zoning out and half listening and realised that I think this song could REALLY suit your voice!

What’d ya think?

Ido - Keith Urban 'Love somebody like you'

Davie - Paul Young 'Wherever I lay my hat'

Grace - The Who 'Baba O'Riley'

Rod - Pink Floyd 'Dogs'

Shadowdusk - Rolling Stones 'Paint it black'

Can't think of more at the moment.

Yes, Grace, you're supposed to sing your heart out this time. We do not accept low volume in a Baba O'Riley cover!

:-)

Vardon: Master of Puppets.

This will break him out of his Glee teenybopper shell and allow him to blossom into manhood.

It's Metallica, Grace, one the bands that I can't stand. I hate metal but I'll listen to it anyway Duke, give you the benefit of the doubt. And puh-lease? Teeny bopper? Just because I watch Glee? I admit the acting could be better and the story lines are little dumb but I really only watch it for the songs. Episodes that have crap songs are crap for me.

Off to Youtube to check out Sam Sparrow and Master of Puppets.

Thanks, BTW.

Oookay! Had a listen to both songs and Grace, I love Black and Gold. Right up my street.^_^. It's a little on my break but I've improved slightly in the last few days so I should be able to do it at a reasonable power level, if not, an octave lower.

Lol. Duke, I couldn't sing that if I wanted to. I kinda, almost, just about, like the orchestral elements in the songs but the drums drive me mad. The vocals too are too rough for me, I physically can't do that right now. Not without hurting myself anyway.

First off, thanks for the suggestion Masklin, I actually {censored}ing love that song :) but sadly, I've gone a bit ill, and my throat isn't very obedient, so everything will have to hold. From the top of my head -

Ido - Nobody knows you when you're down and out

Grace - April come she will

Jvardon - Swing low sweet chariot

Duke - Barbie girl

Will give out more suggestions later, but rather busy with school ,and prom being tomorrow :o

Lol. To Barbie Girl suggestion. You could even try Dr Jones, also by Aqua.

Anyway, Swing low? Really? I didn't think anybody would be into that but I'll go find a nice version with a nice instrumental and get singing.
