Members grace_slick
I've done some brief test stuff to see how I've gone downhill since not singing for ages. I've been on "hiatus" but will be getting back to my music in a few weeks, after 2 weeks on holiday, so...yeah. I'm fairly sure in these 2 clips you'll be able to hear "issues" that I don't think were there as much before, when I was singing everyday, but maybe it's just me. Feedback ploise. They're the 2 newest ones in this strange Soundclick account I made ages ago just for Kate Bush songs, but I don't use it anymore so I can "soil" it with this stuff. lol And also, I know I haven't put the link in here, but I have run out of time and have to convert them before I can put them anywhere, so I'll be back shortly with the link. Stay tuned. AND I'm also aware I forgot the words to one of 'em...meh. lol
Members grace_slick
Sorry for the delay. I had to download a file converter program and apparently it may have added some voice file or advertisement or something to my clips...so if you hear someone talking in any of 'em, it's NOT me and try to ignore it, and SORRY for the annoyance! The converter I used to use and love is sadly no more. Here's the link... www.soundclick.com/katefan23 They're the first 3 songs on there...let me know if you notice any difference to my other songs...at this link... my original one when I was singing frequently... www.soundclick.com/germpatterson
Moderators davie Posted June 5, 2010 Moderators Share Posted June 5, 2010 not sure, but maybe seems more strained?
Members ido1957
Sounds lighter but definitely still has the previous quality. I think it's like riding a bicycle, provided you do your warm ups....
Members CountRobula
Yeah, I don't hear a huge difference, Grace, you still have the ethereal, beautiful voice of a siren. ;P
Members grace_slick
Oh hehehe! Thank you!!! I think some of my issues are a lack of familiarity and confidence in recording myself again. I've "forgotten" how to do it. lol
Members JohnBenussi
I have to agree with Count here.I don't here much difference except maybe you haven't done it ina while so you're rusty, which goes away with consistency.
Members grace_slick
Coolness. I still think I hear stuff, but all good. Thanks!
Members voodoochile123
Nice one. I had a break for 3 months too. It took me about 4 months to get back... I'll try to never do that again, it's been a real pain building up again. Love your voice by the way, it reminds me a lot of Kate Bush. Beautiful.
