Last JM LP I bought- by her own sky-high standards, she had a hard path to take from the extremely adventurous progression she followed in the 70s. I'm afraid I can't quite hang with the stuff she did in the 80s and 90s... but now with YouTube, we can hear demos of those records, and stripped to their essences, the songs are as good as ever.
