Keep in mind: on my system, doing all the tweaks I could find resulted in no measurable increase in performance, but I am happy to have done them, just to eliminate potential conflicts. Don't expect to be able to run ten more simultaneous tracks, or a couple dozen extra plugs or anything, is what I'm saying.
