Well the new forum looks great.

That's pretty cool.

It's true a lot of my interests showed up in different message boards as I said. I still have to use Facebook especially this time of year with summer gigs. I think this could still be a vibrant forum unless guys figure out we have talked about everything musically. There used to be a ton of traffic here and things got heated years ago between members. I miss parts of that.

A lot of people play in the bands. The problem is they use Facebook for a lot of things. It's weird as it's affected a lot of online message boards. Facebook is really clunky to use. Even all the Hammond Leslie Speaker technicians post on Facebook and it's a bitch to have to drill down into threads to get stuff. I don't get the appeal actually.

Well anyone that straps a guitar on or sits behind a drum kit thinks it might happen someday. Once you reach middle age you might have to look around and realize it's probably not going to happen. Some people have a hard time with that acceptance.

I do have one millennial. She is OK but sometimes a little inconsistent. I think they need to work with older musicians to figure out the game.

People have to invest in something if they want to get something out of it, it's that simple really.

I really don't understand it and the way Facebook is designed things can go off the rails a lot easier the way replies are made there. It's terrible, even the Hammond and Leslie pages I like suck.

I don't know why people use Facebook as a new forum. It doesn't work the same way and the format is clunky. I have been hear for 17 years and still try to contribute.

Not that I wanted to bump this up but I just have one of these I can get for free if I want.

It's not bad advice but there is so much gear out there and you don't want to end up with someting you will regret. H-100's have no resale value or residual. Most techs I know don't want them either.

They were so supposed to replace the B-3 from what I understand.

I know techs hated working on them.

Good idea for a site.

Someone on the keyboard forum said they should merge and get it over with!
