  1. Dark days indeed. I've had some recent luck with Craig's List, which I HATE! But it seems that luck may already be over. Everybody wants something for free and I'm not wiling to give my {censored} away. If I wanted to give it away I'd donate it to a church and not to some lowballing scumbag on Craig's list.

  2. MF, M123, & GC all have this for $250 (it's the restock w/o case) but no codes were working at MF on it and GC wanted to charge me shipping. Well the code "Saveten1" works at Music123 w/ Free Shipping, making this $225 shipped. Hell even used these are worth $300+ all day long. I ordered it last night and it's already shipped
    :)

Oh crap! I already ordered that stupid Alvarez acoustic. Now this!

  3. For sale is a complete non-reliced wiring harness & pups for an '08 American Standard S/S/S Strat. This includes a no-load tone pot for the bridge position.

I have clipped the leads at the longest possible points so that you should only have to solder them back to the trem claw, output jack and grounding ring.

What you see is what you will get. No mounting hardware, pickup covers or knobs. I don't have any extras and used what was available on a project.

Price is $110 shipped and PayPalled. Below are readings I've taken through the wiring harness. Thanks for looking.

    Bridge: 7.12k

    Mid: 5.76

    Neck: 5.75

  4. I have some more tone for sale. :D This time it's a wiring harness for a set of Tonerider Surfari Strat pickups. The harness includes 1 Fender 5-way switch, 1 volume pot, 1 blender pot (for neck/bridge combo) and a star ground.

This harness does NOT have a tone pot as I never use them. One should be fairly easy to add with those that are handy modders. Included are pickup covers, screws and springs but no knobs.

Here's the PDF wiring diagram I used for this project.

Price is $100 shipped. GFS Pickguard NOT included. Serving suggestion. Enlarged to show texture. :D

Here are the measurements for these pickups.

    Advertised Bridge: 6.5k

    Advertised Mid: 6.2k

    Advertised Neck: 5.8k

  5. STILL AVAILABLE:

For sale is a complete wiring harness for a Stratocaster. Harness includes a set of GFS '64 Stagger Vintage Grey-Bottom boutique Strat set (Surfy), 1 Fender 5-way switch, 1 CTS 250k volume pot, 1 CTS 250k blender pot (for bridge and neck combo), a common star ground, pickup covers and screws.

This setup does not have a tone pot as I seldom use them, but it would be very easy to add one if you are so inclined.

Price is $75 shipped and paypaled. Pics will be up soon ... waiting on some batteries to charge.

Please consider that if you are new to the upgrading pickups game, this may be very difficult. Here is the PDF diagram I used for the wiring harness. Actual measurements of pickups are below.

    Advertised Bridge: 6.8k

    Advertised Mid: 6.3k

    Advertised Neck: 5.8k

  6. I've not played through an AC30 but I have have borrowed an AC15. I voted but probably shouldn't have as I'm heavily biased in favor of the Twin Reverb. Each has their own distinct tone though.

You won't need a reverb or tremolo pedal if using a Twin Reverb. It takes an echo pedal well. Haven't tried a fuzz or distortion pedal.
