Members Scoogs
Join the club. I actually want that exact model. I think it's more of the late 60's version of the Starfire III, with that staircase pickguard and the Guild headstock we know now.

Members Johnny Z
I had a '66 Starfire III back in high school, it was a great guitar. Too bad I didn't know it back then. 30 years later I got my second Guild a 96' X-170. I aint lettin' this one go.

Members onerailunder
Guitarlady pawns us with Japanese art and a collection of Guilds. BTW, what year are they, and NY or RI vintage?
Members guitarlady
Guitarlady pawns us with Japanese art and a collection of Guilds. BTW, what year are they, and NY or RI vintage? None of my Guilds are collectors items yet. The Starfire IV is a 1997 made in Westerly RI, the Park Avenue a 2003 made in Corona CA, the Bluesbird a 2003 made in Corona CA, and the GAD-D212 a 2006 made in China. My mother, who passed away last year, was the collector of the Japanese art, I don't know much about that kind of art.

Members stanfield
I want many Guild guitars.. I came across one the other day I'd never seen before.. it had a stand build into the back of it. Can't find it now.. But, I also think these Freshman are pretty cool too! Apparently the body is a hollowed out solidbody, rather than your normal semi-hollow or archtop construction. Very cool. ebay auction
