Members Matt B
So I have been having some problems with serious string breakage with one of my guitars for a couple days. I can not even tune my high e string to the correct pitch without it breaking. All the strings that have broke break right at the hole where you put the string in. I tried rubbing the edges of the hole with graphite, no help. Any suggestions? The tuner in question is a grover mini locking.

Members pak066
take some fine sand paper and rub it on the hole its self. it might be razor sharp.
Members stormin1155
Try a different brand of string (send these back to the company with an explaination... you may have gotten a bad batch and they may send you replacements). Have you changed brands or gauges or anything? Try more wraps around the peg.
