Members hi.flyer
Hi, ya'll. I'd like some advice regarding 'Nashville tuning' (stringing up a 6-string guitar w/ the second course of strings from a 12-string guitar). I have my acoustic set up this way and I really like it, especially b/c I'm generally just a rhythm guitar/strummer kinda guy, so I'd like to actually dedicate an electric to this tuning as well (I play, and record, electric more, but also want to keep a guitar in standard tuning as well). Anywho, this kinda gives me an excuse to get a new guitar ()! I just need to know what to look for: humbuckers/single coils? Uh, body type, bridge and stuff or whatever? My first idea was to find out what guitars other, famed guitarists use w/ this tuning, but I've kinda hit a brick wall in regards to that. Thanks in advance for any and all advice!
