Members Steve the Hero
I had a cab shipped to me a few months back, and when it arrived the speakers inside were loose and laying on the bottom of the cab. The magnets had come off the frame on two of the speakers. The speakers are Celestion Vintage 30s. I am just posting this now because I had no use for the speakers until now, so I just left them on a shelf in my closet. I tried reattaching the magnets but that did not produce any results. If a magnet comes off a speaker, is the speaker in any way repairable?
Members hellion_213
From what I can tell, though I found Nothing actually difinitive, they are simply glued on in the first place. I would try that, can't hurt anything I wouldn't imagine. Probably want to use a strong adhesive, epoxy or something similar.
