Members Cats-o-caster Posted October 28, 2009 Members Share Posted October 28, 2009 My strat finnaly arrived from the paint job, so here it is: Old parts: Body: Alder, from japanese "El Maya", 1979, original finish was natural Neck : Maple, made by local luthier ("Cats") 1980 Tuners: Schaller, around 1983 Neck pickup: Taken from the wrecked '63 Fender strat New parts: Pickguard: Fender Bridge: Wilkinson Pups: Dimarzio SD-s bridge, Pro-track middle New body finish, fretboard repaired, new frets Plays like a dream Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Actually, the guitar was equiped with the pups and parts before, and needed refinishing job badly. This luthier mentioned that he allways wanted to do EVH paint job, but there was no orders.
