I would be more concerned about the .011s being too much for the neck - mine doesn't seem like it would handle .011s. It will do just fine, but you will need to tighten the truss rod. Members headless Posted November 30, 2009 Members Share Posted November 30, 2009 Buy a set of feeler gauges. Run the edges across some 80 grit sandpaper a few times. Instant nut files. I already have the feeler gauges, and I thought I was probably going to try to use a metal cut-off wheel with a dremel to carve small notches/cutting teeth in them.
