Members LBOIV001
Can anyone recommend a good set of pickups for my Godin XTSA? I play country, southern rock, hard rock, funk and some metal. I've heard some good things about Bareknuckle pups. Any opinions? I'll be picking up a Mesa Boogie Electradyne very soon. Can't Wait! Thanks.
Members thecornman
Dimarzio Paf Pro in the bridge, Dimarzio Virtual Blues in the middle and Dimarzio Humbucker From Hell in the neck with a push pull pot to split the buckers. This is what I have in my Godin Freeway Classic at the moment and they cover every sound I am looking for super well.
Members Ancient Mariner
I'm seriously thinking about a PU swap in mine too, as the originals lack warmth and clarity, and seem a bit too hot. I'd quite like to try single coil sized P90s, although they might be a bit aggressive. Otherwise I'd look for a sweet-toned PAF-style. Rather wish I'd not sold the GFS '59s I had a while back.
