Members SteveBW Posted January 11, 2010 Members Share Posted January 11, 2010 I have as ES-339-fat neck (not the 30/60 slimmer neck), want another guitar with this type fat neck, am thinking of getting an ES-137, but not sure if the 137 neck is as fat, Gibson em explanation was not clear, does anyone know? Have a 335 fat neck , which is a 58 style neck, BIG. Are you looking at the Classic or the Custom 137? Custom is more bucks, but the ebony fretboard is killer. Members MahaloVision Posted January 11, 2010 Members Share Posted January 11, 2010 I have a 137 Classic, and the neck is definitely not as big and chunky as the ones that were on the 135's, at least to my recollection.
