Members Brown Rug
What are the differences between these two amps tone-wise? All I know is that the AC30H2 has no tremelo or reverb. Is one more gainy? less gainy? more clean? less clean? I am considering buying an AC30 though I'm not sure which one to get, though I've been hearing some great things about the heritage version in terms of reliability. But in the end it just comes down to tone.

Members cratz2
I was going to link to this thread, but I realized it's your thread. http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?t=2529847 You just have to play them. For me, the difference the EF86 channel. You can get great cleans or almost cleans out of either amp, but having the EF86 channel is like having another amp in the same chassis. The standard AC30 sounds like a Vox and I have no doubt I could live with it though I've never owned an AC30, only AC15s. But I had the AC15CC1 and an AC15H1TV and figured I'd get rid of one of them and there was no doubt as to which one that would be.
