Members GRANKOR
that's from 2006, not 1996
Members Dogsinotpalc
Yep, not a 1996, even if the tuners were just swapped. Sweat guitar though. I have 1994, which had the alder body instead of the mahogany and uncovered pickups. One of the two best guitars I own or ever have owned.
Members Prages
Color looks to be red. It looks the same color as my '92. I think mine was called Scarlet.

Members EthylOH
Does that have the natural finish headstock? Or is it black? I bought a blue flame-maple w/ binding CE22 in 2004. It's awesome.

Members Dogsinotpalc
looks too light to be black cherry Yes, it's not Black Cherry. BC is dark in the "valleys" of the figure of the maple. It's also one of my favorite PRS colors and I know this ain't it. It is, however, a beautiful guitar. Members docjeffrey
That's a beautiful CE22. By the way, the "6" prefix is the model number, not the year of production; however, 29901 would be either late 2006 or early 2007. I love my CE 22 and my 24. I've been playing the 22 a lot lately. The Dragon II pickups are great especially on the split coil settings. The trem is trem-endous:-) and the neck is finished in a sweet, silky nitro lacquer. Don't worry about the oxidation. That just means that there is plenty of silver in that cover.
