This was a pretty quick tele project. I built this just to have something to do this past week. This guitar is already on craigslist.

It took as long to make the bridge, control plate, and jack plate as it did to do all the woodworking.

I was aiming for a very warm jazzy tele and I got the sound I was after. Acoustically this is the loudest solid body that I've played. The tone is very smooth with some midrange bark.

I've already dinged it a couple of times while working on it.

Western Red Cedar body

Mahogany set neck

Bloodwood 22 fret fingerboard

SS frets

Grover mini tuners

dot at the 12th fret

ebony nut

medium output pickups from an old MIJ ibanez

Shop made aluminum bridge, pickup ring, and control plate

Thanks all!

That's a clean looking guitar. What type of glue(brand) was used on the neck joint?

Also thanks, I used Titebond original on the neck joint. I only use Titebond 1 (not 2 or 3) or hide glue for neck and fingerboard joints. Almost all other glue types can creep over time.
