Members noisebloom Posted April 7, 2010 Members Share Posted April 7, 2010 IMO, a great way to get a VH-style guitar without parting the thing out yourself is to get a Charvel So-Cal Style 1 2H and replace the bridge pickup with a Duncan EVH 78 special order pickup. The Charvel neck and body with the Floyd will get you real close. You can even cut the pickguard and rip out the neck pickup, if you want to get a little closer. That said, there are a ton of places on the net where you can find the specs of the Frankie. At least half the fun of doing that build is doing the homework.
