Members Daft Punk
http://www.rustyfingers.co.uk/home.html My D'addarios rust in a matter of days (I try to play 2-3 hours a day). I'm thinking I might try this out. Anyone here have any experience with one of these things? Did they really help extend the life of your strings dramatically? The next thing I'm thinking of is trying out those prosteels D'addario has....
Members ashasha
Not sure if that helps, but Dunlop makes this stuff that you put on the strings called Formula 56 or something that seems to work really well for my son's guitars. He'll trash a fresh set in about 20 minutes even if he wipes it down.
Members St. Andrew
I can supply a link for Rusty Trombone. It might work on strings too

Thanks for the suggestion but I've already been using that (regularly) to no avail

Members dogtownmax
fast fret works too for stopping rust and corrosion if you use it after playing.

Members clay sails
I really don't see how that "string protector" will work. The strings get moisture on them playing, right? The upper 2/3 of the string is still exposed... If you play your guitar every few days the strings shouldn't rust.
