For those who haven't heard of them (probably most of the guys in the USA), Gordon Smith is a UK based guitar company that makes handbuilt guitars. They all have very thin finishes and brass nuts. They sound/play fantastic. This ones got a few chips round the front which being a nitro finish I may touch up at some point, but otherwise very little wear. Specs: spruce top with one piece maple cap on it Brazillian cedar body Mahogany neck Indian rosewood fingerboard Coil taps on both pickups Anyway, pics (sadly I don't know how to link to ebay pictures) But pretty much like this: But with a ribcage contour and a traditional black headstock veneer. I've been looking for a nice humbucker guitar for ages, that sounds traditional but a bit brighter than a Les Paul. This fits the bill perfectly, and I got it for a good price.
