Members JilaX^
Okay, so here is the deal. There's a contest for (primarily young) blues & rock guitarists. The prize is receiving a guitar (Signed) from Joe Bonamassa, and playing a song at the opening of the countries biggest bluesfestival. So pretty decent prizes, to say the least. Unfortunately I don't really have the time to record anything new (Exams coming up, etc.), and the music videos I recently recorded with my band are still being mixed. So I basically have two tracks to choose from. Now, I need your help to pick which one I should use. Pretty standard blues. Cover Of Hideaway. Members Slave2TheAudio
I liked listening to them both. Both were very good. I think you should choose the first one. It shows individuality and freedom rather than a cover. Good luck!
Members Scott Abene
I like both but would go with the second one
Members csm
I have a special interest in Hideaway, since I play it myself -- I like your version cuz it's nice'n fiery, tho' I'd recommend working some on your timing/phrasing. Here's mine: Phrasing on the first one reminds me of some of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac stuff -- no small achievement -- but it sounds a little stiff. Go deh!
