Members sxyryan
Looking at putting together a small PA setup. What I want is a power amp and a mixer in a rack case, and nothing else. If I get something like this (not necessarily this one, but all the mixers I am looking at are this size): http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Behringer-RX1202FX-EURORACK-Pro-Rackmount-12Input-Mixer?sku=631275 Pic: How many spaces in a rack does that take up? I want to say two, but I don't know. I have a power amp, and it looks to be about the same size as that. So how many spaces in a rack do a need? Four? Eight? Members mrbrown49
Not sure if this helps or not, but a standard rack space is 1 an 3/4 inches. There should at least be spec for height in the manual if it doesn't say explicitly how many rack spaces it takes.

Members BryanMichael
I'd always get a rack slightly bigger than what you want for either air flow or that "one more piece of gear" you end up wanting to throw in there... .
Members jelloman
the dimensions are 5 1/4" so that's 3 - 1 3/4" rack spaces...
Members Arr0wHead
"I did not now how many rack spaces it took - but after contacting Behringer they responded - it takes 3 rack spaces."
