Members clay sails
I put a California Series tele up on CL to trade and I have the following offers: 1. Wine red Gibson Les Paul Studio (not a faded series)2. Fender MIJ black and white P bass with maple neck 3. Inca silver Fender HH strat with rosewood neck year 2000 I'd like either of the guitars, but I don't have a bass. Which one would YOU go for? (Note: I'm not keeping the tele. It sounds great and the neck kicks ass, but I don't like the non-contoured body so its gotta go.)
Members mightysasquatch
I'd take the Les Paul, no question.

Members Alecto
Studio every single day. By far the most valuable, and considerably moreso than your Telecaster. Wasn't the California series Mexican to some degree? The California series was the precursor to the Highway 1 series: built in the USA but less expensive than the Am. Std. Perhaps I'm biased for letting my California Strat slip through my hands, and several issues have put me off Gibsons, but I'd be thinking long and hard about that deal. You're gonna kick yourself for letting that Tele go.
Members tiltsta
I'd take the LP.
