Members Mercenary
my gibson has recently developed a problem. when i am playing with my volume knobs on maximum, the bridge pick up will sound like the volume is on 1 and to fix it i need to flick the 3 way pick up back and forth a lot of times to get it to become full volume again. is this a problem with wiring or the pickup? Members onelife
It sounds like a problem with the switch - you could take it out and clean the contact points and make sure that there are solid physical connection in all positions. Members Elias Graves
Could be dirty contacts in the switch. Get some contact cleaner spray and see if that clears it up. Alcohol and a q tip often works, too. Be careful with chemicals around the finish. EG
