Moderators Ratae Corieltauvorum Posted November 18, 2010 Moderators Share Posted November 18, 2010 It's known globally that if you want the Gibson of your dreams you speak to Saul at Centre City Music in San Diego
Members etawful
It's known globally that if you want the Gibson of your dreams you speak to Saul at Centre City Music in San Diego Which is most definitely not in the SF/Monterey area. (8 hour drive) There are a few stores in that area and in Berkely. But it's been a LONG time since I lived out there, so unfortunately, I can't suggest a place to look that's in the bay area. I would make sure to call around or e-mail every dealer in a 50 mile radius or so to see what you can turn up.

(8 hour drive) The guy is coming from NZ, an extra 8 hour drive to get the best LP at the best price is surely worth a trip?.

Members bsman
Try Guitar Showcase in San Jose: http://www.guitarshowcase.com/ I don't know what they've got in that specific model, but they generally have a really good selection of new and vintage Gibbys, and I've never picked up a Gibby there that was anything less than perfect.
