Members GAS Man Posted December 31, 2010 Members Share Posted December 31, 2010 I just posted this on the Hot Deals Thread: Got mine for $140 new on ebay when Bing cash back was about at its highest, couldn't get rid of it fast enough. Don't want to come across like I'm doubting the man cuz he may be saving me (and others) from a costly mistake, but just wondering if others here have any first hand experience with this guitar. Members ashasha Posted December 31, 2010 Members Share Posted December 31, 2010 I've been looking at those for a while on and off and there's some neat stuff going on with them, but the pickups are pretty much married to that guitar. Plus it is made in China and Ampeg isn't a huge guitar maker to begin with so it's obviously been farmed out and is probably an afterthought for whoever makes them.
