Members nuke_diver
Well said Ratae and Surfy. He sounded like a special man and a good friend and died the way most of us would wish, peaceful. RIP Roger

Members Doctor49
This won't mean much to the rest of the world, but I needed a place to share this. From the way you have described him, I feel as if I also lost a friend. Whatever your belief about what comes next, those who we love live on in the way that we talk about them and marvel at their lives. You are fortunate indeed to have been touched by such a guy. This means a great deal to many of us here and we share your sense of loss. RIP Roger.
Members paulisme
Just hearing Roger's story about his generosity in giving you his mandolin that he not only owned but put hours of work into tells me he was a generous guy and a great friend. I'm sorry for your loss.

Members sh944
Thanks to everyone, I appreciate your comments. In tribute to Roger, I'd like to offer this: Dog and Mandolin I wrote and recorded it with my Dobro and the mandolin Roger gave me, and tried to capture the essence of who Roger was, an easy going, laid back guy that made you feel like worrying was a waste of time. One of my dogs decided to sing along, so she's included. lol For those of y'all that have chops on either dobro or mandolin, I humbly apologize!
