Members photon9
I have this: An amazing mid 90s Peerless Casino which I truly love. Yet I want one of these... http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ELCSVSNH/ An elitist casino. There's one used at my local m&p for $1300 used w/ ohsc. It's maybe a benjamin less than the cheapest used one on ebay. Seems kinda redundant but that particular one is an amazing player. Even so $1300 can buy you a hell of a nice guitar, which this one is, but again I already have an extraordinarily nice one so... Am I dumb or what? Or should I go for it? Members mrbrown49
If you are getting that on in addition to the one you have, it's a great idea. Nothing wrong with having two of the same type. Two similar guitars like that will feel and sound a bit different and you have the added flexibility of keeping them setup differently. I mean, how many strat guys have different strats? If you are selling the one you have, I guess i'd justbe sure you like the other best. Good be a good idea, good be a terrible one. Your's is lovely btw. i don't recall seeing one with a finish quite like that before.

Members photon9
Isn't $1,300 a little high for an Elitist Casino? In my research it's a little low. They go for 1700 new. Still might be able to haggle a bit and I would probably trade in at very least my epi wilshire '66 for it, if not my AC30 which I am always thinking of moving from. Members photon9
I can't imagine having two of the same guitar. They really aren't that much alike. The build on the elite is much closer to a good 335. Kinda like having a MIA std. strat and a MIM std. strat. Yeah they're the same but the build quality, pups and hardware is different. Feels like a completely different guitar. Don't get me wrong, the Peerless plays fantastic, the elitist is a completely different level though. In general I agree with you though. I never thought I'd have two of the same either until I played this one. Now I'm seriously considering it.
