Members _pete_
This is nice. I may actually have a few GAS pains building up. I'm not a Bigsby fan though but if I grabbed one of these I'd swap it for a Maestro like I had on my old Sheraton II. http://www.epiphone.com/press/new2011.html Also on the list is a P90 SG and the LP Ultra III. Here's the white 355. They also come in black and red. According to the spec sheet the fingerboard is ebony. Price looks to be $699.

Members kayd_mon
The SG looks like an affordable alternative to the Gibson ones, which is cool. I like the binding and block inlays of the 355, just not the Bigsby.

Members _pete_
How does a 355 differ from a 335?EG Gibson differences:Multi ply binding, ebony fingerboard, block MOP inlays, bound headstock w' split diamond, gold hardware, optional Varitone. Basically it's like the difference between an LP Standard and LP Custom.

Ah, I was hoping it was the smaller semi-hollow. What's that one, the 339? About the size of an LP with the construction of a 335? I'd love one of those... Members _pete_
That would kinda make it like the Lifeson model, wudden it? Yeah that's kinda where I'm going. I can't spend the $$$ for a Gibson AL-355 even if one shows up for sale somewhere. I had my old Epi pretty much there but had to sell it off a while back. It was pretty close... These are looking really interesting. Well, it says the pups are "patterned after the original Gibson 57 Classics". They probably won't be the greatest but they may sound ok.
