(In advance: I'm sorry if this is also the wrong place to post my stuff, but I've seen members post their own original stuff here occasionally, so I'm posting here assuming its allowed)

 

After years of playing and practicing I was finally able to borrow my friend's Tascam DP-008 in exchange for me giving him my bass amp. These songs are my first attempts at recording my own material, sorry about some of the odd transitions, and some over clipping on the distortion. I am still very unfamiliar with the software. Any criticism/opinions are greatly appreciated!

I like your songs and your ideas as such.

But your distorted guitar sound is not very good, IMO. How did you record the guitars? To me it sounds like directly plugged into a board without any amp-simulation. You could look into some freeware amp-plugins!

Prog Rock is epic...I dug it...certainly don't have anything critical to say about it.

I like the overdrive on the guitar, I think it sounds great.
