Epiphone Casino users?

I agree with the other fellows, P-90s are a HUGE part of a Casino's appeal. The only thing stopping me from getting a Casino is the thin neck. I've become stubbornly devoted to thicker 50s type necks.

 

 

Have you played any of the recent MIC ones? I played a Casino in a store not very long ago that had a pretty thick neck.

You might like the 1961 50th Anniversary model. Still not as thick as a 50s Gibson profile, but way bigger than MIK Casinos.

Yes you can swap the P90. There are many drop in replacements from SD, Dimarzio, Lollar, ... I've never heard one that sounds like a real P90 without noise, but there are also many SC P90s that don't sound much like real P90s. Either can certainly sound OK though.
