You can play 2 of the same exact model, independent of price, and have 2 radically different sounding guitars. I have an old yamaha that is not the most expensive one and it has a great sound - loud and full. Recently, through some horse trading I ended up with a modern top-of-the-line yamaha and that thing is anemic. A wheezy acoustic is a heart breaker.
