Members megawzrd
Anyone know what model the bass is? Been trying to look it up and I've found nothing! It seems that the dual P is a real oddity but it is probably an RD 707 according to some of the hits that I got (TALKBASS forums). Check out the RD707 here: http://www.ibanezregister.com/Gallery/bass_gallery.htm HNGD(* )( *) X

Members Deadbeat Son
HNGD x 4!!! The bass is an EX405. The EX basses were Ibanez's entry-level instruments in the early-mid 1990s. The RD 707 previously mentioned didn't have dual P-style pickups.. http://www.ibanezregister.com/Gallery/basses/ex/gal-exb405.htm
Members megawzrd
Nice Deadbeat...I guess not an RD707. I dismissed the EX series because I have seen the headstock "EX" logo on the headstock too many times.

I dismissed the EX series because I have seen the headstock "EX" logo on the headstock too many times. I don't recall if it was the older, or newer series that had the standard logo. I do recall the EX models with the hideous red lettering on the headstock though. I was in a band back in '94 or '95 with a guy who played an EX bass like the one the OP received, so I recognized it instantly.
