How did you record this? Any special performance techniques?

Members gregh
That's a remarkable piece, Gregh. How did you record this? Any special performance techniques? HI Ieso - thanks ... no special performance techniques really. But lots of editing and multitracking. There are up to 7 bass tracks going at once. I use quite a bit of tremolo arm when playing, and often double track that with a bend down on one chord/note and a bend up on another. Also I tune 6 string all over the place, without any sensible relation between double tracked tracks or even strings.

Members scuzzo
(I'm doing everything on it, so you know who's to blame ...) wow, with the whole Multi MEdia thing happening too... cool..i think Avant guarde can encompass a wide scope of styles... i guess its up to the listener to decide what can be AG.. sure wish i could do some visuals to some of my silly efforts though.. good job! Members Minnie The Moocher
Yeah, I consider it a bit avant-garde for me, considering I'm usually a rock/blues player. About the visuals, it's very cheap but I wanted to create a mood instead of the usual "me & my guitar" vids .
