Members samzadgan
So my les paul search of almost a month has come down to 2 guitars... 1. New Epiphone Standard plus top in vintage sunburst-made in indonesia2. Used 2003 Epiphone Custom cherry sunburst - made in Korea So, before you ask they both sound and feel very similar...the 2003 Custom feels a little bit smoother, but i put that down to being played in. The price is also the same! The problem is...i just dont know which one to get...im really stuck...which would you choose?
Members Athiest_Peace
Either way you'll be fine. Personally, I'd go for the 2003 just because it has a bit of played in feel. Also, since it's used, you don't have to worry as much about it getting nicked or dinged. That's just my 2 cents though. Either way, HNGD soon. Members Futuresman
Don't mean to throw you a curve ball, but i just got an Epi 1960 Les Paul Tribute Plus and it is {censored}ing awesome for the cash. They are equiped with Gibson 57's...real Gibson 57's, was nicely set up, locking tuners, and a hard shell case, for $600.00. Mine sounds great and the split humbuckers actually sound decent. My only beef is the plastic nut (posted about in another thread), but I'll have it replaced soon. Just my 2 cents
