Members pekelnik
I'm back for a moment cause you are a helpful bunch. Does anyone have a clue how does Joan Baez play "It's All Over Now Baby Blue"? I tried to listen to it but I can't get it quite down. Maybe just chord inversions, but it's wrong somewhere. (I thought it's just Bm - A and then F#m - E at "Look out..") Anyone knows the correct chord sequence? Thanks! (And sorry to have rudely interrupted the string thickness discussions.) Members Mr.Grumpy
Ha! My new band is learning this tune, it's a Bob Dylan song. There are many versions by some famous artists, and why not? It's an incredible song. We are trying to get the sound and feel of the version done by the 13th Floor Elevators, and it looks like that transposed it up a key (from G to A) for their version. Original: G G F C G G F C Dm F C Dm F C E E G Dm F C *edit* I posted this ^^ incorrectly at first, it's fixed now. The last chord on each line is a C, not a D. 13TH Floor Elevators' version Intro: D chord A A G D A A G D Em G D Em G D F# F# A Em G D
Members pekelnik
Hm, no guitar around, but B B A F#B B A F#F#m A F#F#m A F#G# G# BF#m A F# didn't sound right when I tried it some time back. I think she throws something around somewhere so it's not like in the original version. (This would not be surprising, even Dylan himself plays same songs in very different ways.) Members Mr.Grumpy
No...if you transpose the Elevators' version up a whole step, you get: B B A EB B A EF#m A EF#m A EG# G# BF#m A E

Members pekelnik
But I'm rather interested in the version Joan Baez plays, which differs from the original I think: 6RrdtrT6ukM I'll get to my guitars to try the suggestions in an hour or so. Thanks. I didn't get the G# and thought it was still B.Edit: I would say it's about as follows: Bm Bm A ABm Bm A ABm Bm A ABm Bm A AG#m G#m B BF#m A E E
