Seriously, you can drive from DC to NYC in about 3-4 hours, Philly in 2, Baltimore in 1. Why don't you just drive up to those places and hand them your promo? Yeah, turn into a cover band or ask the boss if you can have Tuesday and Wednesday off. :-( best, john ps, craigslist for the cities in question can help. Here's how it works: ypu put an ad up offering a gig swap with a local band. So they help you get a gig in their town, you help them get a gig in yours.
