At that time it was the high four strings from a 6 string set tuned to open D(D,F#,A,D) it's since been restrung to open A using the middle four strings of a 6 string set. Just haven't found the right box yet. My buddy Jim Chilson who plays in a band called the Ten foot Polecats had a neck kicking around. The guy who built my box built an amazing box guitar using his neck. I'll just say the mans prices are reasonable for the amount of work and quality of work he provides. Anyways this is a pic of the box guitar he built my friend using a neck that was kicking around and I think maybe cedar for the body to keep with the cbg theme and sound ' alt='>'> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
