Members GilmourD
So I put in the order for a new neck for my Variax and will be selling the one that's on there when I get the new one. The new one won't be here for 10 to 12 weeks. What would you say I could sell the old neck for? It's not the original Line6 Variax neck. It's a Warmoth with the Warmoth-2 headstock, maple board on a flame maple core, Wizard profile medium jumbo frets (as far as I can tell) and it's got an Earvana compensated nut. It's cut for the Schaller locking tuners the that are on it, but I'm keeping those.
Members billybilly
Even though its specs might be good and made well, I don't think you would get much for that, it's not something people are looking for. For example, even if I liked the specs, I wouldn't buy it and if I did, I'd sand off the logos and refinish it. I don't know really but I'll throw out $100 without tuners. Members GilmourD
Well, $100 is better than zero. LOL Forgot to say, it does have a thin, glossy finish.
Members kayd_mon
That thing is almost too custom to sell. It could easily be listed for months on ebay with no bites. Good luck!
Members GilmourD
Well, the decal on the headstock would come off without much work as it's a... Waterslide?... Decal. Other than that it's a neck you can order off Warmoth's site without any mention of the name.
