Members New Trail
I know I'm very late to the party but Brian May is a monster player with unbelievable tone. After watching Queen Live at Wembley I want to get a set of Brian May Burns Tri-Sonic Pickups and put in my Strat. I know it won't make me play, or even sound like Brian May, but will it be a good mod? Has anyone done this? Thanks!

Members warriorpoet
http://www.guitarfetish.com/Brighton-Rock-Vintage-Spec-Alnico-Pickups-Classic-Queen-sound_p_1514.html I think they also sell loaded pickguards. You'll need a treble booster and a couple cranked Vox, too
Members wartoxin
If you didn't know a lot of brian may tones are the bridge and middle in series, which is not a common wiring of single coil guitars. That will have the most effect on tone. And some solos are known to use 2 pickups out of phase.
