Members Into Nation
I was in the area and dropped in, picking up and playing a bunch. There was this Silver Epi on the wall. Grabbed it and wowee - chunk neck max. Bigger than any 50's Gibson I've laid hands on. It was monstrous. I asked about it, it was a TV Silver Epi limited edition LP. They were closing, didn't plug it in but man, what a handful. I told the guy I liked big necks, he had me check out a '62 Strat reissue. No compare.Could be only that one, who knows. I have to go back.
Members wankdeplank
Good luck with that. Really diggin the chunkster on my recently acquired 89 American Standard which is a good match for my 2000 Gibson Studio Lite (50's style neck). Still have a few guitars with more of a 60's carve which I can live with but gone are all the slimlines that used to get my hand to crampin. Members billybilly
I love the chunky neck. They are hard to come by in this age of thin/shredder necks. It pains me when I see an axe I really like and pick it up only to find another paper thin neck. I'd go back and have a play for sure.
