Members Bucksstudent
A gimmick is a flaw or extremity that sets something apart from other things. I don't see anything on that website but a slogan and a guarantee. It's like Papa Johns saying they have "better pizza." It's not a gimmick. Members kayd_mon
I don't know about that link, but Carvin has easy play necks or something, and they live up to the name. A friend has one of their acoustics, import at that, and wow does it play easy.
Members DeepEnd
Yes, it's a gimmick. Post your question over in Acoustic Guitars for an earfull. Apparently they set the guitars up for ridiculously low action and in the process ruin the frets, plus charging a small fortune for the setup. Buy something else, say a low-end Yamaha, and have it set up properly. You'll come out ahead by a mile.
