Look her up at drummerworld.

I saw her playing with the Ringo Starr all-star band a couple years ago. She's an awesome drummer.

There you go! I didnt know she had her own thing going on. Is it a latin kind of thing, dance, rock, funk?

Last time she was on the charts, it was a crossover latin / pop tune. Not sure if she is still doing that, though.

the guy from POISONCINDERELLAWARRANTWINGERDOKKEN.

Also, I personally find Joey Jordison comical, but maybe thats because I find his band ridiculous.

Carmine Appice never set my heart aflutter. I dont think he sucks though.

Same with Tommy Aldridge.

I don't like Joey Jordison, but that's because Slip Knot really aren't my bag. "{censored} Nu Metal" is my battle-cry!

THAT is my point...people buy their stuff because they like it. And that is one of the primary functions of music/art. Regardless if YOU like '50 cent' or some other moron, other people obviously do, so they are doing something right.

Well, let's call a spade a spade. Paris Hilton is likely getting someone like the Matrix to write the material and pro session players to perform the music. So it's not like just because she's not necessarily a musician doesn't mean there isn't musicians and top songwriters at work. Putting everybody who writes and performs the music for some actor or sports star to pretend they're a rockstar into the "no talent box" is just a little blind...

Sorry buddy. I dont know him. I guess Im lumping all those hairmetal guys in together. Maybe Im being unfair, but unfortunately the good drummers in there are guilty by association in my book. :D

Im always bemused when I read someone saying that Watts and Rudd are "Bad" drummers. Especially Watts. Just because Hes not a fill freak like Portnoy doesnt mean hes no good. Hes one of the most accomplished TimeKeepers out there. Notice I said Timekeeper and not drummer. In this regard, they are two different things. Sometimes the ability to maintain a consistent groove with damn near perfect time is enough. Before you slag off a guy like Watts, think about what hes playing. Hes as known for what he leaves out as much as hes known for what he puts in.

And for Rudd, well, if your familiar with ACDC music, you'll realize that its really nothing more than 50's blues shuffles that dont leave a lot of room for interpretive drumming. He lays down the beat, consistently and competantly. Again, in service to the song, not the ego.

Watts is also a dedicated jazz fan and accomplished jazz drummer.
