Members 1001gear
Claws, mounting hardware, wrap, or a means to finish/refinish them? Oh yeah heads. I hope there's stuff left for the next poster.

Members Dave Schenck
Don't forget you'll also need the screws to hold the lug casings to the shell and either a template or superior math skills to place the lug casings in an equal and efficient manner to make sure you hit the nodal points. Such an old drum may need the bearing edges re-dressed, which you should not try to do yourself, as you may need to have it re-done again by a pro. For help, tips, info and insight try : www.drummaker.com and www.precisiondrum.com Best of luck on your adventure.
Members 1001gear
:thu: I always wondered about those nodes. Pearldrum said 1/5 the shell length. Precision Drum said " 1 1/4 inch from the bearing edge !! I still haven't drilled any. An interesting one is OCDP. They use the drum specific hoops to determine lug placement. Only way to go they said! (Modern Drummer circa last century)
