Heel toe problem

I wear 11's and do OK. Just back-up some to get your toes out of the chain. Some drummers use the heel-toe technique with their heel completely off the pedal and their toe hitting mid-plate. Experiment with a happy medium as it's just a rocking motion or you might need to go for the Axis long boards.

Hope it works out for you.

PS: You could always try the Vruk attachment to give you more extension on your pedal.

As has been stated already, foot size doesn't really matter. Read the Heel-Toe thread started by Dark Slide, he goes through the process and how a large foot doesn't matter. I have a size 12 and find I can easily do it. One thing I agree with is that this is much easier with the shoes off, either in socks or as I prefer, barefoot. I use a DW9002 pedal, but the same result with my DW5000 and my two old cheap Pearl pedals.

So to answer, you are not out of luck, perhaps out of optimal technique. Sounds like a tweak is in order and then you'll be flying. :thu:
