Members qwertyMan Posted July 3, 2007 Members Share Posted July 3, 2007 I was wondering what resonant heads I should put on my drums once my Remo Coated Emperors wear out, and I switch to Evans EC2's. I currently have the stock "no-name" heads on. I was thinking of using their Resonant Glass heads, because I heard EC2's and G1's are a bad match-up. I am also considering the Resonant Black heads. Still, just to post a remark or two, I'd say most of the like or not like of any combination of drum heads is contingent on factors like your drum sizes, tuning, environment... what have you.Get a sampling of resos and try them all. You know, pick a floor tom and a rack tom and start listening. You may find negligible diffs or dramatic miracles, all depending on everything else. Next.
