Members bengerm77
SO I was drinking last night at a guys house when a guy offered to sell me a straight stand, a pair of Zildjian A new beat hats, and a Zildjian A medium ride for $125. I jumped on it. Anyway, now I have a bunch of extra cymbals that I don't really need but I can't decide if I like the old ride or the new Zildjian better. Do you guys have multiple sets of cymbals too? This was less of a question post and more of a I'm happy about my purchase and wanted to share it with you guys post. Members 1001gear
I have a stack of used cymbals. It's nice to have the options.
Members boxofrocks
I got a couple extra in the case that get switched out depending on what band I'm playing with, either classic rock or modern rock sounds. But not many cause they're freaking expensive for decent ones.

Members D Carroll
Do I have any extra cymbals? No, I am a student, I have my nice cymbal, and no back ups.. Would I keep them? Hell yeah. If you sold them, you would probably only make a $100 profit... I think having a decent back-up is way more important.

Members rdrummer322
Try this stack... put the ride on a stand with the hihat top flat on top of it. Use the bead of your stick and you have an interesting ride, use the butt and you have a quick decay crash. Don't you love experimenting with cymbal combinations... Members boomboomdrums
I don't have any extras. I used to have a spare ride cymbal that I never used. Then I gave it to my nephew who started playing drums but had no cymbals. He has since quit!
Members rfdias
Too many cymbals? If you believe you have too many cymbals, PM me and I'll send you an address to which you can donate them...I'll make sure SOMEONE puts them to good use. I'm starting a collection...kind of like the Land of Misfit Toys. Given that price, just how hot was the gear (or was he just behind in rent)? Gotta wonder...B.
