Hi guys.

My vocal coach had me try a "true Opera". Here I'm singing "Porgi Amor" from "The Marriage of Figaro".

Act II of "The Marriage of Figaro". In her boudoir (lady's private bedroom), the Countess Rosine bemoans the Count's infidelity. (from Wikipedia)

Lyrics in Italian:

Porgi, amor, qualche ristoro,

Al mio duolo, a'miei sospir!

O mi rendi il mio Tesoro,

O mi lascia almen morir.

Lyrics translated to English:

O Love, give me some remedy,

For my sorrow, for my sighs!

Either give me back my darling,

Or at least let me die.

To me, this is a huge improvement over your last song (Jill's Theme).

Your last song sounded too strained and forced to me.

But this one your voice sounds stronger and more relaxed.

So i guess that means your vocal coach is doing a good job.

It's scary that you're only 13. You have so many years ahead of you to improve.

Keep it up.

Thanks guys.

The set was mostly made beautiful by my mom. She hand made the curtains and drew the Mona Lisa on the wall.

I think some difference in the Jill's theme and Porgi Amor is that my vocal coach had me post Jill's Theme without any reverb so it had a different type of sound.
