Members BassStevus Posted January 3, 2006 Members Share Posted January 3, 2006 Happy New Year Bottom Dwellers,I am looking for a new compressor and was wondering if anyone out there had any preferences. I will probably go with a stomp box, because I want to put it at the beginning of my signal path, in front of my octave box and envelope filter. I have been checking out the Demeter Opti Comp, the EBS, and the Trace Elliot dual compressor. Anyone got any other suggestions or comments?? Steer clear of the Boss pedal compressors unless strange effects are your desire.. for some reason they only seem to work well on higher frequencies like geetar and mandolin.
